Who is responsible
Your child attends (or you are applying to) [CONTROLLER-LEGAL-NAME], an Islamic weekend school in the Netherlands (the “controller” — responsible for your data, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK [KVK-NUMBER]). The software is operated for the school by [PROCESSOR-NAME] (the “processor”), on the school’s instructions and for no purpose of its own. Questions: [CONTACT-EMAIL].
What we collect
Only what the school needs to run: your child’s name and date of birth; your name, email, phone, home address, and country of residence; the consent you give (the checkboxes and the name you type, with a policy version and a one-way scrambled code from your internet address — never the address itself); attendance; Qur’an memorisation (ezber) progress; a photo of your child only if you separately consent; and any custody or contact-restriction information you choose to tell us. We never ask for identity documents.
Why, and on what legal ground
Enrollment, class placement, attendance, and contacting you rest on the enrollment relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The fact of enrollment in an Islamic school and ezber tracking are special-category religious data, processed on your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)). Any financial records (the service is free for 2026–27) are kept because Dutch tax law requires it. No decision is made by a machine, and your data is never used for advertising or sold — ever.
Religious data — an honest word
Because this is an Islamic school, enrolling here already says something about your family’s religion, and we record your child’s Qur’an-memorisation progress. Under European law this is specially protected. That is why we ask for your explicit consent in its own separate checkbox at enrollment — not hidden inside the general terms. You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal immediately suspends your child’s portal access and staff stop recording new progress.
Your rights & children’s consent
You can see, get a copy of, correct, restrict, or ask us to erase your and your child’s data (the system has built-in export and erasure), subject to the 7-year financial-record rule and the text of emails we already sent. In the Netherlands a child under 16 cannot give this consent — you, the guardian, tick the boxes and type your name, and at your child’s first attendance a staff member confirms in person that you are the guardian who enrolled. Complaints: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl); if you live in Türkiye, KVKK rights may also apply.

Neden ve hangi hukuki dayanakla?
Kayıt, sınıf yerleştirme, yoklama ve sizinle iletişim, kayıt ilişkisine dayanır (GDPR Md. 6(1)(b)). Bir İslami okula kayıt ve ezber takibi özel nitelikli dinî veridir ve açık rızanızla işlenir (Md. 9(2)(a)). Mali kayıtlar (hizmet 2026–27’de ücretsizdir) Hollanda vergi mevzuatı gereği saklanır. Hiçbir karar makineye bırakılmaz ve verileriniz asla reklam için kullanılmaz veya satılmaz.
Dinî veriler — açık konuşalım

Kendi verilerinizi ve çocuğunuzun verilerini görebilir, bir kopyasını alabilir; düzeltilmesini, işlenmesinin kısıtlanmasını veya silinmesini isteyebilirsiniz (sistemde hazır dışa aktarma ve silme vardır); 7 yıllık mali saklama kuralı ve daha önce gönderdiğimiz e-postaların metni istisnadır. Hollanda’da 16 yaşından küçük bir çocuk bu rızayı veremez — kutuları veli olarak siz işaretlersiniz ve adınızı yazarsınız; çocuğunuzun ilk geldiği gün bir görevli, kaydı yapan velinin siz olduğunuzu yüz yüze teyit eder.
